    Our History

    SERVPRO of Merrimack was founded in 1998 by our owners Kevin and Cynthia Lee, who are natives to the Greater New England area, helping to inspire every member of the team to appreciate our area’s people, culture, traditions, and history. Before joining SERVPRO, Kevin managed the cleaning of support services departments for Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in which he became an expert in commercial cleaning and management. Kevin graduated from his undergraduate program Olivet Nazarene University in Illinois, and then proceeded to obtain his MBA from Rivier College, located locally in Nashua NH.

    Commitment to Community

    Even though Merrimack is among the top 10 most populated municipalities throughout the state, it does not have that big city feel. Though not as densely populated as bigger cities, we have many businesses that can benefit from our large loss recovery team.The community of Merrimack is associated with many historical attributes making Merrimack and surrounding towns very well known. Merrimack is notorious for the Reeds Cemetery which has been an active burial ground since the colonial period, making Merrimack NH, one of the earliest burial grounds since the colonial period. SERVPRO of Merrimack supports many local charities and is proud to be a part of the community that we serve. We also sponsor employees, customers and colleagues for programs like the American Cancer Society, Walk for Cancer, Walk for Hunger and Veterans. Not only is SERVPRO of Merrimack a charitable company, but we are actively involved in Merrimack Chamber of Commerce and the Better Business Bureau. We take pride in giving back to our community and always love to see familiar faces when driving through the Merrimack area.

    Working out of our 14,000 square foot office/warehouse in Belchertown, MA for the last three years, we have been proudly serving Western Massachusetts and the Pioneer Valley for nearly a quarter century, starting in 1996 in Granby MA, moving to Ludlow in 2003 and finally our new home in Belchertown.  We have a culture of developing exceptional employees from the ground up. Kevin Fall, our owner, has helped to encourage many of our technicians to stay with us for the long haul, with several being with our brand for more than a decade. Because cancer has affected both our staff and our communities on a personal level, we support many efforts of the Jimmy Fund, including the Bell and Hudson Putt-a-Thon and organized walks.

    Our heart is in helping those through traumatic and stressful ordeals – from the multiple colleges in our area to the thousands of homes that depend on our fast and confident response. We have developed a full roster of qualified employees accredited through the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) in almost every facet of the industry and have an in-house division of licensed (MA CS-107843) general contractors to handle even more of the work your home or business might need after a disaster.
