YPN Spotlight: Hans Malebranche of Miami Marlins

Hans C. Malebranche works for the Miami Marlins in Corporate Sales & Partnerships where he supports the department in preparing fully integrated new business proposals, managing expense budgets related to the execution of partnership agreements, and working closely with the sales team to ensure contract fulfillment. He recently transitioned into the job after spending last season with the Orange Bowl Committee interning in the marketing department and assisting with the planning and execution of the various Orange Bowl youth and festival events and the Discover Orange Bowl.

Hans is a graduate of St. Thomas University where he earned an MBA in Sports Administration after moving to South Florida from Chicago, IL. Prior to his relocation he spent several years in the Arena Football League 2 and Indoor Football League where he spent two years as a coordinator of player development coordinating summer jobs and internships, community outreach, and team travel. He also  played a major role in all day-to-day football operations and the recruitment of free agents.

Active in several local service organizations, Hans serves as a captain of the Miami Dolphins Special Teams and co-captain for the Orange Bowl Youth Sailing Regatta held annually in Coral Gables. He has served as Executive Vice-President of St. Thomas University’s Sports Administration Club and was on the Executive Board of the Illini Pride student support organization while an undergraduate. He is also a past World Fitness Association certified personal trainer.

Hans earned his bachelor’s degree in Recreation, Sports, and Tourism Management from the University of Illinois while serving as the senior student manager for the Illinois football program. He currently resides in Miami Beach, FL and one day hopes to return to his alma mater as the Director of Athletics.
