YPN Spotlight: Chaynea Fox-Sampson of Russell Life Skills and Reading Foundation

Chaynea Fox-Sampson

With more than seven years of event and logistical planning experience, including business operations and marketing experience, Chaynea Fox-Sampson currently serves as the Events & Operations Coordinator at the Russell Life Skills and Reading Foundation founded by former NFL athlete, Twan Russell. At the foundation she coordinates charity events to raise money for 12 After School Reading Rooms throughout South Florida. Before working for RLSARF, she served as the Events & Operations Assistant at the Orange Bowl Committee, Inc. where she assisted Game Operations, Team Operations, Festival Events, and the OBC’s Ambassador (volunteer) Program.

Before joining the Orange Bowl, Fox-Sampson served as Staff Assistant in the Youth Programs and Team Operations Department with the Miami Dolphins, Ltd. She was responsible for assisting with organizing junior training camps, cheer camps, and 7-on-7 football tournaments for the Youth Sports Program led under the direction of Twan Russell. She also assisted Scott Bullis (Manager of Team Operations) with coordinating operational duties for the Miami Dolphins Training Camp and the team’s home games held at Sun Life Stadium.

Fox-Sampson owns and operates Pure Elegance Party Planning, an events and design firm providing expertise in planning, coordination, budgeting, and vendor services. Her experience has led her to plan many events from exquisite weddings, special events, corporate meetings, and private parties.

A graduate of Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Health Promotions, some of her professional affiliations include the Young Professionals Network of Miami, American College of Sports Medicine, International Special Events Society, and the Coral Springs Chamber of Commerce. Through her professional affiliations, Fox-Sampson also volunteers her time at career related events and mentoring programs including Honey Shine Mentoring Program, Single Stop, and the Broward County Public School System. Her vision is to use her education in Sports Management to become a senior executive in the sports and entertainment  industry while continue to serve as a positive role model and servant of God.

Fox-Sampson has also served a total of 8 years in the United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsman and Operations Specialist Third Class.
