With more than 20+ years of experience starting, growing and leading businesses in the manufacturing, distribution, retail, franchise, and hospitality sectors, Marco Scanu is a business and executive coach with a globally-based practice coaching Fortune 1000 company executives, entrepreneurs, and professionals in 4 different countries and 10 different professions. He currently serves as a High Performance Business & Executive Coach at 345 Group.

Since 2004, Scanu has written business plans used for raising capital and immigration purposes. As a consultant and business plan writer, he’s has international experience with clients in Europe, United States, Latin America, and the United States. His Corporate experience includes strategic planning and financial budgeting with Banco Andino in Venezuela. In fact, one of the companies he led received outstanding awards backed by McKinsey and Arthur D. Little, thus becoming a success case study in business schools.

Scanu has been an invited speaker in national and international events and has also been a workshop facilitator and invited professor in four universities in the areas of franchise growth, entrepreneurship, and management of entrepreneurial ventures. He currently works as a Venture Coach at the University of Miami’s Launch Pad program.

Scanu received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Cum Laude) from the University of Florida, an MBA in Management from Bocconi University in Milan, Italy, and is a Certified Coach from the University of Miami. He was also a Visiting Scholar at Michigan State University under the prestigious H. Scanu has served on several Boards of Directors, including the Chamber of Commerce of  Mérida, Merida’s Chamber of Tourism, and Merida’s Symphony Orchestra in Venezuela. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of the International Coach Federation/South Florida chapter. He is a member of the Entrepreneurship Advisory Board at The School of Hospitality Business – Michigan State University and also serves on the Board of Advisors of the Pino Global Entrepreneurship Center at Florida International University.

Scanu was Honorary Consul of the Republic of Italy (2001-2004) and is fluent in Spanish, Italian, and English, and conversationally fluent in Portuguese.
