The Marketing Specialist will have experience in coordinating marketing and advertising campaigns to engage consumers, develop brand identity and customer loyalty, and increase ROI. A background in healthcare marketing is preferred, but not required, as is experience in working in coordination with an ad agency. Strong editing and writing skills are required, and the ability to read and write Spanish and/or Haitian Creole is preferred. Strong organizational skills are also required, along with the ability to multi-task and successfully manage multiple projects at the same time. PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

The University of Miami Miller School of Medicine WalkSafe™ & BikeSafe™ Programs are part of the KiDZ Neuroscience Center housed inside The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis. WalkSafe and BikeSafe are comprehensive injury prevention programs to promote safety and health among school aged children (5-14 years old). WalkSafe focuses primarily on elementary schools and K-8 centers throughout Miami-Dade County to provide education and encouragement to increase students’ pedestrian safety knowledge, increase participation in physical activity and improve walkability of the areas around schools. While BikeSafe focuses primarily on middle schools and students in grades 6-8 to achieve the same aims for bicycle knowledge, activity and bikeability.
